                  The Marathon of Hope

On April 12^th, 1980, Terrance Stanley (Terry) Fox began a feat no one has ever dared try. A trek across Canada. He called it, The Marathon of Hope.

            Fox was one with  enormous strength and perseverance. Having cancer and using a prosthetic leg he continued to push himself to start the run.

He began his marathon, by dipping his leg in the Atlantic ocean, filled two large bottles of water with ocean water. He intended to keep one as a souvenir and to pour the other into the pacific ocean come the end of his journey.

        His journey was forced to end on September 1^st for the reason that the cancer spread to his lungs and he could no longer continue.

            He died almost one year later on June 28^th, 1981. He is still none as a legend and a legacy. He has raised over $500 million and counting.

Information Technology to me is, a class where you learn important life skills to improve your computer usage. It is developing rapidly, Almost too quick. That is what I love about it. Everything is forever changing and you are able to do more and more as you read this! Info Tech also helps for a tonne of jobs. That is what infoTech is to me.

Now this is the story all about how 
My life got flipped, turned upside down 
And I'd like to take a minute just sit right there 
I'll tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-air 

In west Philadelphia born and raised 
On the playground where I spent most of my days 
Chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool 
And all shooting some b-ball outside of the school 
When a couple of guys, they were up to no good 
Started making trouble in my neighbourhood 
I got in one little fight and my mom got scared 
And said "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-air" 

I whistled for a cab and when it came near the 
License plate said "fresh" and had a dice in the mirror 
If anything I could say that this cab was rare 
But I thought nah, forget it, yo homes to Bel-air! 

I pulled up to a house about seven or eight 
And I yelled to the cabby "Yo, homes smell you later!" 
Looked at my kingdom I was finally there 
To sit on my throne as the prince of Bel-air
